That show (if ya dunno what I'm talking about you're dumb and didn't read this rant's title) is WEIRD! I mean, people... in his nose! Squirrels in his head! And... and...... the boogers.......... *kills self* And the fact that Richard Epcar voices the lead is just..... *beyond weirded out*

Anyway, got my promotion at work, which means for right now I'm staying in Virginia. I don't LIKE it here, but I can't afford to start from scratch again, it's just too hard on my nerves. Soon I can afford my own place (well, with at least one roommate but that's still aloner than what I have now) and I can take my junk and my cat and never have to talk with my shitty aunt and uncle again. By the way, who in their right mind FORBIDS someone to wash their hair in the sink? I mean I was fucking CLEAN! It was my HAIR that was dirty and needed a quick wash! And I was late! I didn't have TIME for a shower! *rants more to self*

Working Guest Relations at Nekocon by the way. So people who want to come meet me and hurt me for doing this comic (so badly) feel free to attend the con. You'll see me all over. I never stay in one place too long, but I'm always around ^_^ I can't wait to spend so much time with my Suko-chan! *luvs on her* We had such fun already and that was just the meeting! We'll be awesome at the con! *plans* besides, we're doing TWO cosplays! We're doing Light/Dark Ritsuka from Loveless and Allen/Girl-I-can-never-remember-the-name-of from D. Grayman! We shall OWN the cosplay! *cheers like the huge dork she is*

Heh, I need some sleep. Anyway, there's an update. Now go away and read the comic. Suko and I owe vid art too . . . .

Tonight, goodnight, I'm burning star IV

So here we are, eh? The site sits on the edge of completion, and it works beautifully in all major browsers, except for some... "fun" little problems in Internet Explorer. I can't begin to make it clear just how much sanity I've lost trying to make everything on this page 100% IE compliant, but it just doesn't WANT to do it, all because of some ridiculous bugs that our friends over at Microsoft refuse to consider fixing until the official release of IE7 God knows when 2006.

So here's where I pull out my soap box. I'll even stand on it for good measure. Web designers across the planet are tearing out their hair on a daily basis trying to come up with fixes and workarounds for IE's shortcomings, when the best answer is simple, easy, and free.

GET FIREFOX. PLEASE. Please?!

It runs faster than IE, it's way more secure, and the security problems it does have usually get fixed within days after they're discovered. Images will load more cleanly (like the comic!), CSS will load more smoothly (like ours!), and you'll be safe from spyware from slightly less than repeutable websites (not like ours!).

See, looking at the stats, most of our users seem to be using Firefox, Opera, and Safari. I love you guys. Thank you for making the internet a better place. But there's still quite a few of you that are using IE6 (or even worse, IE5 or older!). It's not your fault, maybe you didn't know of an alternative, or maybe you just never thought it really mattered. It really does though. As for those of you who are ready to switch over to a cleaner browser... well I'll be waiting there, along with with a 100% compatible website.
